How to Use (Important for Best Results)
These tools perform best on clay between leather-hard and bone-dry.
Do not use on wet clay. Softer clay increases the risk of chatter and tool bounce.
If trimming fully dry clay, be aware that clay dust is hazardous; use proper protection and ventilation.
If you are new to very sharp trimming tools, start with a slow wheel speed until you gain confidence.
Hold the tool at the correct angle:
Imagine the wheel head as a compass.
For right-handed users, positioning the blade between east and southeast provides the smoothest cut.
Incorrect angles (east or west) will reduce cutting efficiency.
